Synopsis
Semeuleung Raja adalah prosesi menyuapi makanan kepada penerus Kerajaan Daya pada Hari Raya Iduladha. Tradisi adat ini merujuk pada peristiwa penabalan Sultan Alaidin Riayatsyah oleh ayahandanya pada 1480 Masehi. Pada saat itu, Riayatsyah disuapi oleh sang ayahanda, yang menandakan dirinya resmi memimpin negeri. Penabalan tersebut terjadi tepat pada Hari Raya Iduladha.
Semeuleung Raja is a ceremonial tradition of feeding the heir to the Daya Kingdom on Eid al-Adha. This custom refers to the coronation of Sultan Alaidin Riayatsyah by his father in 1480 CE. During this event, Riayatsyah was ceremonially fed by his father, symbolizing his official ascension to leadership. The coronation took place precisely on Eid al-Adha.
