Synopsis
Maramba menceritakan pemakaman Raja Sumba terakhir, Umbu Nai Tunga, yang mengikuti kepercayaan Marapu. Kepercayaan ini mencerminkan ikatan masyarakat Sumba dengan alam dan leluhur. Setelah kematiannya, keturunannya sepakat tidak melanjutkan sistem kerajaan dan beralih ke sistem negara Republik Indonesia.
Maramba recounts the burial of the last King of Sumba, Umbu Nai Tunga, in accordance with the Marapu belief. This belief reflects the Sumbanese people's deep connection to nature and their ancestors. After his death, his descendants agreed not to continue the monarchy system and transitioned to the governance of the Republic of Indonesia.
