Synopsis
Ibu Iis, terapis lintah dari Bandung, awalnya ragu terhadap terapi ini hingga ia mempelajari tekniknya di Bogor. Terapi menggunakan lintah jenis Hirudo, yang lebih efektif dibanding lintah biasa. Untuk menjaga lintah tetap sehat, air penampungan harus diganti setiap minggu, dan lintah yang mati segera dibuang untuk mencegah wabah.
Ibu Iis, a leech therapist from Bandung, was initially skeptical about this therapy until she learned the technique in Bogor. The therapy uses Hirudo-type leeches, which are more effective than ordinary leeches. The reservoir water should be changed weekly to maintain the leeches in good condition. In addition, dead leeches should be removed immediately to prevent an outbreak.
