Synopsis

Film ini menyoroti Kusdono Rastika, anak maestro lukis kaca Cirebon, Rastika. Setelah sang ayah wafat, sanggar keluarga di Gegesik Kulon hancur karena konflik. Kusdono menjadi satu-satunya penerus yang tetap menekuni lukis kaca. Ia mereplikasi karya-karya ayahnya secara manual demi “menyelamatkan” warisan itu. Dokumenter ini merekam proses kreatifnya dan kisah di balik tiap lukisan.

This film spotlights Kusdono Rastika, the sole heir of Cirebon glass-painting maestro Rastika. After his father’s death and the family studio’s collapse in Gegesik Kulon, Kusdono became the only artist still practicing the craft. He painstakingly replicates his father’s works to “save” the legacy. The documentary records his creative process and the stories behind each pane.
