Synopsis
Bandung memiliki berbagai ancaman gempa. Selain sesar Lembang yang membentang di utara Bandung. Ancaman gempa juga ada di selatan, yaitu sesar Garsela. Sesar Garsela adalah sesar paling aktif di Jawa Barat, dengan riwayat gempa terbilang sangat aktif.
Video ini membahas keberadaan sesar Garsela segmen Rakutai, serta membahas tentang risiko dan ancaman yang akan ditimbulkan oleh sesar ini. Selain itu, video ini juga membahas potensi penguatan kekuatan gempa di seluruh cekungan Bandung yang bisa membuat kekuatan gempa bisa berkali-kali lipat. Serta penjelasan tentang riwayat gempa sesar ini selama beberapa tahun ke belakang.
Selain Bandung dan Garut, sesar Garsela juga bisa mengancam wilayah lain di sekitarnya.
Bandung faces various earthquake threats. In addition to the Lembang fault line stretching north of Bandung, there is also an earthquake threat to the south, namely the Garsela fault line. The Garsela fault line is the most active fault line in West Java, with a history of very active earthquakes.
