Caos Dahar Kemisan mengisahkan ketulusan para Abdi Dalem Keraton Surakarta Hadiningrat dalam menjalankan tugas yang diwariskan secara turun-temurun. Tradisi ini telah berlangsung sejak raja-raja terdahulu hingga era Pakubuwana XIII. Pelaksanaannya mengikuti tata laksana khusus, mulai dari jenis sesaji hingga urutan benda dan tempat yang harus diberi Caos Dahar. Bagi para Abdi Dalem, ritual ini bukan sekadar tugas, tetapi sumber ketenteraman batin. Mereka meyakini bahwa ketulusan dalam menjalankan Caos Dahar membawa keberkahan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari.
