Synopsis
Masyarakat Bali menghubungkan kuliner dan ritual keagamaan karena makanan adalah sesaji untuk dewa, salah satunya base genep. Base genep adalah campuran bumbu khas Bali, seperti jahe, kencur, lengkuas, dan kunyit, yang memiliki makna filosofis dan religius, juga bermanfaat bagi kesehatan.
Balinese people associate cuisine with religious rituals as food serves as offerings to the deities, including Base Genep. Base Genep is a mixture of traditional Balinese spices, such as galangal, ginger, and turmeric, which hold philosophical, religious, and health-related meanings.
