Implementasi Teknik Paludikultur dalam Sistem Agroforestri untuk Restorasi Ekosistem Gambut

Orasi ilmiah ini akan membahas mengenai paludikultur, yakni teknik budi daya berkelanjutan yang memaanfatkan lahan gambut basah untuk menanam spesies adaptif. Tujuannya adalah untuk menjaga keanekaragaman hayati, memperbaiki tanah, dan mengelola air untuk mencegah kebakaran serta menghadapi perubahan iklim. Paludikultur dalam sistem agroforestri dengan jenis tumbuhan dan pengelolaan air yang tepat akan mampu menekan emisi karbon (0-15 tCO2ekuivalen/ha/tahun), memulihkan ekosistem gambut, serta meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat melalui praktik ramah lingkungan. Ini merupakan peluang ekonomi baru menuju masa depan hijau berkelanjutan.
