Daging kultur jaringan (cultured meat) merupakan daging yang dihasilkan melalui proses kultur sel induk (stem cell) yang diperoleh dari biopsi sapi atau hewan ternak lainnya. Sel induk dikembangkan dalam bioreactor menggunakan media kultur tertentu hingga membentuk jaringan daging yang menyerupai daging pada umumnya. Teknologi daging kultur jaringan hadir sebagai inovasi pangan masa depan yang tidak membutuhkan adanya peternakan sapi. Hal ini tentu akan mengurangi dampak pemanasan global, penggunaan air dan lahan yang tinggi, serta penanganan hewan yang tidak beretika. Namun, inovasi produksi daging kultur jaringan ini tidak terlepas dari polemik yang berhubungan dengan hukum Islam. Proses produksi daging kultur jaringan yang bagaimana agar dapat diterima oleh hukum Islam?
