Synopsis

Buku ini memaparkan secara kritis dan seimbang terhadap fenomena intoleransi keagamaan. Oleh karena itu, buku ini bukan-lah sebuah karya keagamaan ataupun karya yang ingin menyudutkan sebuah kepercayaan yang dimiliki oleh suatu kelompok keyakinan. Dalam buku ini, selain mengkaji mengenai masalah intoleransi di Indonesia, juga mengulik tentang perkembangan pendidikan di Indonesia, toleransi beragama, dan kurikulum terselubung, serta refleksi dalam memaknai toleransi beragama. Temukan informasi tentang contoh dan metode pendidikan yang dapat diimplementasikan di sekolah untuk mengajarkan mengenai pendidikan toleransi beragama. Semoga buku ini dapat menjadi inspirasi, menambah wawasan, dan mendorong pembaca untuk berpikir lebih kritis dalam menelaah kehidupan toleransi beragama di Indonesia, khususnya dalam institusi pendidikan.

Author Biography

Kevin Nobel Kurniawan, Universitas Indonesia

Kevin Nobel Kurniawan lahir di Jakarta pada tanggal 18 Oktober 1993. Pada tahun 2013, penulis mulai menempuh studi sarjana di Jurusan Sosiologi, Universitas Indonesia, dan lulus pada tahun 2017. Setelah itu, Kevin melanjutkan studi master dalam bidang yang sama di University of Leeds dengan tesis ber-judul Hospitality in the Midst of Refugee-phobia yang kemudian dianugerahi Janina Bauman Prize pada tahun 2019. Penulis kembali ke Indonesia untuk mengajar, meneliti, memberi konsultasi, dan menulis buku. Penulis juga aktif di dalam proses penulisan jurnal ilmiah pada tingkat nasional maupun internasional.
