Synopsis

Gitar adalah salah satu jenis alat musik dawai yang dimainkan dengan cara dipetik. Gitar merupakan alat musik yang tersebar secara luas hampir di seluruh negara. Gitar bisa dimainkan secara tunggal maupun bersama alat musik lainnya. Gitar tunggal Lampung Pesisir merupakan salah satu musik dawai tradisional milik masyarakat Lampung Pesisir. Musik ini pertama kali dipopulerkan oleh Hila Hambala. Musik ini mendapat pengaruh dari gambus tunggal dan gitar Batanghari Sembilan. Bentuk pertunjuk­an musik, musik sebagai konstruksi identitas, hingga sistem pewarisan secara informal kepada penerusnya dapat dijadikan salah satu cara melestarikan nilai-nilai lokal kesenian gitar tunggal Lampung Pesisir dalam sudut pandang etnopedagogi.
